Why use QR Code?

See that odd-looking mess to the left? That’s a QR code, and it could quite possibly become your businesses’ new best friend. You may have seen them scattered around and not known what they are – they’re essentially two-dimensional barcodes, but instead of being limited to storing numbers on some groceries, they’re able to store things like strings of text, URLs, emails, and much more.

OK, Great. So what’s the point?
Nearly everyone has a smart phone these days. Any of these phones made in the last few years have the ability to read QR codes. The code can display a message on their screen, or direct them to a specific web page. Imagine one on your business card that links to your Google Places page, complete with customer reviews, directions, a map, etc.
