ResourceBlog Article: New Online: Entire Front Cover (Print Edition) of Just Released Issue of ACRL News is a QR Code

The first thing you’ll likely notice immediately is the image of the front cover of the print edition. The entire cover is one QR code. For a larger pic of the QR code over, you can view it here via Flickr.

We think this cover is going to be a keeper for many readers and might make for a rather cool poster for ALA to sell.

Does the QR code work? Yes. Give it a go and find out if you have a QR code reader handy.

Why the QR code? As you’ll see in a moment, C&RL News (November 2010) includes an article by Robin Ashford on QR technology use in libraries.

Kudos to ACRL on publishing a very cool cover.
